CHILD SPONSORSHIP

Help sponsor a child and make a difference. It is necessary, if you are interested in participating to sponsor and change life of a child in JMCM.

SPONSOR’ S STATEMENT OF COMMITMENT

Sending termly financial help to the child /children allocated or given. The sponsor may send financial help according to his/her own pocket [financial status ] .
Writing regular letters to the child
Any given sponsor will be free to choose one child or group of children according to his/her [sponsor] own will.
The sponsor will acknowledge all the child’s birth day.
Praying for the child.
Supporting the child’s education, guidance, love, care and protection.
The sponsor is free to choose whether he/she wants to sponsor a girl child or boy child and also the best age he /she may want. Sponsorship can be on individual basis or group.
Sponsors are free to air out their views for instance what they want to be implemented and for this reason JMCM stands by and respects all the views expressed by any sponsor or sponsoring groups.

NOTE:

One may only sponsor a child provided that he /she acknowledges and agrees with the sponsor’s statement of commitment.

DONATIONS

Your donation could help extend the life of a child, enable him to get an education, provide him medical care and support, spiritual nourishment, social and emotional development and economic empowerment.

Each day of an extended life & improved quality would certainly multiply the chances of availing a cure; each defective birth prevented would mean preventing a new generation of muscular dystrophy families and families from social, economic, cultural, emotional ruin.

We are desirous of establishing a ‘JMCM MEDICAL CENTRE’ at a rental facility with basic medical, rehabilitation and support services within. While this may require at least US$50,000 per year including the running costs, we are currently looking for only US$18000 to set up the facility. We are hopeful of raising local resources to meet the monthly recurring costs. It would be our great pleasure to duly acknowledge all the donors by listing their names in a pleasing manner at the JESUS AND ME CHILDREN MINISTRIES’ rental premises and our website.

Donation Options

No money is small. You can donate right from $1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,910, up according to your ability to give and how God leads you .  Any amount will be a blessing to JMCM.

You can donate -
$20 and can help with food for at least one  child for a week
$50 to help us with paying school fees for a primary school going child
$50 to help with clothing
$200 to help with paying fees for a child in secondary school.
$75 can help with birthday celebration for a child and make the child feel loved and special.

Computers – $1500, motor vehicle or a van – $50, office equipment – $2000
School supplies – $1500, scholastic materials – $200, books – $5000,
Music instruments – $20000, a set of dress or clothes and a toy of choice for a child – $200
Portable-rust proof wheel chair with a writing/dining board for a muscular dystrophy patient – $500
One set of physiotherapy appliances (hip cycle, new cycle exerciser, hand grip exerciser set, foot hold exerciser set, breathing tool) for a muscular dystrophy patient – $450 

OR provide -

Educational assistance to a muscular dystrophy child WITH transport (notes, text books, educational aids & materials, uniforms and transport for non-ambulant child) -$550
Educational assistance to a muscular dystrophy child WITHOUT transport (notes, text books, educational aids & materials and uniforms) – $150
Diagnosis (DNA test/Muscle Biopsy) for a child showing clinical symptoms of Duchene/Becker Muscular Dystrophy – $400
Nutritional support to a very poor muscular dystrophy patient for 12 months – $3000
Income generation support (sewing machine, idly shop) to a very poor muscular dystrophy family – $200
Income generation support (Petty shop, goat rearing, cow, petty trade)to a very poor muscular dystrophy family – $500
Career detection test to a blood relative (female) of a muscular dystrophy patient – $100
General fund to the organization to initiate pilot projects, meet emergency medical needs of patients and children needs, cover operational costs etc. – $5000
